Registration Is Now Open!
Fleet 50 Registration is now open for 2012. We now have our Registration in a PDF format. Just type in the information and print it out. Add your crew’s email addresses and they will be included in our Distribution List.
Please get your registrations to me ASAP, but definitely before the late day. I have included the notes from the Spring Meeting for your attention to important facts for 2012. I have also included financial notes for the past few years.
Please note that PAYPAL is NOT available for registration due to the other information that is required.

Schedule
May 17 – Racing Starts
June 28 – AC World Series, stay tuned. Maybe 1 race, delayed start.
July 5 – Yes to racing
Aug 2 – Fun race, details to come, not to count towards season or
summer series score
Sept 27 – Last night of Fall Series
Race Committee
We continue to work closely with the Ida Lewis team. Perry, Guy and
Andy will be our fearless PROs once again this year. Thank you!
Scoring
1 point for first place
Newport regatta will be counted as 1 race. First overall fleet 50
boat gets a 1st place score, second gets a 2nd, etc. Boats not
registered get a DNS (Fleet 50 Season Registration +1). Throw-outs
are 1 every 6 races.
Newport Regatta
It is 3 days this year. It is also our regional championship and a
worlds qualifier.
North Sails will be hosting a party the Thursday immediately
beforehand. The fleet will try to host something that Friday.
Newport regatta tent part Saturday. Registration will open soon.
Early registrants likely to receive some sort of love from Sail
Newport .
Gear
Lindsay Nahmias will be taking orders for fleet gear this spring.

Measurement
We will likely have a fleet measurement day May 12. $50 for a full
measurement, partial or just spot check is negotiable. Contact Bob
Kinsman for scheduling and details. We will try to send out a
measurement primer with instructions on how to make this as quick,
easy and painless as possible. Step 1, read the class rules. Steps
2, 3 and more to follow.
Parties
We will have them. First party probably 2nd Thursday. TBD.
Fun Race
Mike Hill and Will Welles are organizing a Fun Race on the first full
moon Thursday in August.
End of Season Party!
Thursday December 15th!

$25 per person in advance – RSVP required please pay with the paypal link.
